지난달 27일, 국회의원회관 제4간담회실에서 한국과 인도의 경제·문화·교육 협력이 입체적으로 논의됐다. 행사명은 ‘한국·인도 양국의 국제교류 및 기업진출 전략 간담회’였다. 공동 주최는 전현희 더불어민주당 수석최고위원과 한국소기업 소상공인연합회, 주관은 조프런티어였다. 형식적으로는 간담회였지만, 기자가 직접 참석한 현장의 공기는 ‘실행’을 전제로 한 브리핑에 가까웠다. 이번 간담회 배경에는 8월 22일부터 30일까지 이어진 인도 대표단의 방한 일정이 있었다. 26일 여의도 BNB타워에서 열린 공식 환영식에서 방향성이 공유됐고, 27일 국회에서는 실행의 윤곽이 드러났다. 그리고 조프런티어는 이번 일정을 총괄하며 한국·인도 민간외교의 허브로 전면에 섰다.

On August 27, the National Assembly Members’ Hall in Seoul hosted the Korea–India International Exchange and Business Entry Strategy Roundtable. Co-hosted by Jeon Hyun-hee of the Democratic Party and the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprises, and organized by Jofrontier, the event moved quickly beyond formalities toward practical action. It followed the Indian delegation’s visit from August 22 to 30, which included an official welcome at Yeouido’s BNB Tower.
